Prayer

Why Prayer Remains the First Response

Prayer remains the first response because it keeps the ministry submitted to God before reacting to pressure, need, or visible opportunity. When a house learns to pray first, it learns to hear before moving, to bow before speaking, and to receive direction before activity multiplies.

This is why prayer shapes more than meetings. It shapes counsel, healing ministry, evangelism, follow-up, and leadership decisions. Prayer guards the house from self-confidence and keeps the people aware that fruit without the help of God is shallow and unsustainable.

A praying ministry does not become passive. It becomes accurate. Intercession prepares the way, exposes hidden burdens, and fills ordinary work with spiritual strength. That is why prayer must remain visible, urgent, and normal in the life of the church.
