Zechariah 1:17 (KJV)
"Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem."
Harvest of wealth is on God's agenda for the end-time saints. As believers, we understand that the spread of the gospel requires financial resources. Kingdom wealth serves as a powerful tool to proclaim the message of our Lord Jesus Christ to all nations. The verse in Zechariah emphasizes that through prosperity, God's cities will be spread abroad. The Lord comforts Zion and chooses Jerusalem through the advancement of the kingdom.
Points to Know:
1. God is able to make all grace abound toward you, enabling you to have sufficiency in all things and abound in every good work
2. Through Jesus Christ, who was rich but became poor for our sakes, we have the potential to be rich in all aspects of life
3. Our spiritual prosperity has a direct correlation to material wealth (3 John 2).
4. Redemption through Jesus Christ gives us access to the harvest of wealth (Revelation 5:12).
5. Applying ourselves to the covenant and trading in God's promises launches us into the harvest of wealth.
