Day 98: SEEING THROUGH THE EYES OF FAITH

Scripture
2 Cor 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
DAILY WISDOM
Your eyes may see problems, but let your faith see possibilities!
MESSAGE
One of the greatest challenges in life is learning to see beyond the natural. Many people are controlled by what they see physically, but faith demands that you see what God has said rather than what your situation looks like. Faith is seeing the invisible and calling it into reality!
When God told Abraham that he would become the father of many nations, Abraham was still childless. Yet, he chose to see himself as God had spoken, not as circumstances dictated (Romans 4:18-21). Faith does not deny reality, but it sees beyond reality to divine possibilities!
KEY TRUTHS ABOUT FAITH-VISION
- What You See Determines What You Receive
“For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it.” – Genesis 13:15
God told Abraham that he could only receive what he could see. Your spiritual sight determines your possession! If you cannot see yourself succeeding, you will struggle to succeed.
- Physical Sight Can Be Misleading
“And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched.” – Numbers 13:32
The ten spies who explored Canaan saw the giants and became afraid, but Joshua and Caleb saw God’s promise and believed they could take the land. Two people can look at the same situation, yet one sees defeat while the other sees victory!
- God’s Word is a Higher Reality than Circumstances
“Let God be true, but every man a liar.” – Romans 3:4
The doctor’s report may say one thing, but what does God say? Your bank account may be empty, but what has God spoken concerning your provision? Faith means you trust God’s Word above what you see physically.
- Faith Sees the End Before the Beginning
“(God) calleth those things which be not as though they were.” – Romans 4:17
When David saw Goliath, he did not see a mighty warrior; he saw a defeated enemy. Faith gives you the ability to see victory before it manifests!
HOW TO SEE THROUGH THE EYES OF FAITH
- Meditate on God’s Promises – Fill your mind with what God says about you (Joshua 1:8).
- Reject Fear and Doubt – Never allow circumstances to dictate your faith (2 Timothy 1:7).
- Speak What You Believe – Declare what you see by faith, not what you see physically (Mark 11:23).
- Stay Around People of Faith – Avoid those who only speak negativity (Proverbs 27:17).
DAILY PURPOSE NOTE
Today, train yourself to see opportunities, not obstacles.
