Day 359: DEC 25TH: ENLARGEMENT THROUGH STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP AND PURPOSEFUL INFLUENCE

Scripture

Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

DAILY WISDOM

Leadership is not about a title; it is about finding the courage to speak up when destiny calls.

MESSAGE

Enlargement has its own language, and one of its clearest forms is leadership. No one steps into a new phase without taking on responsibility. No believer gains influence without building strength, courage, clarity, and strategic thinking. Joshua 1:9 shows us that purposeful influence starts with strength and courage: ‘Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage…’ Enlargement requires strength. It demands courage. It calls for conviction, clarity, and decisive action.

Leadership goes beyond formal authority. It involves managing influence. It means being a reference point, solving problems, carrying solutions, and shining light in dark places. Leadership is about having the courage to drive change, the wisdom to make strategic choices, and the humility to serve excellently.

The kingdom produces leaders who are sharp-minded, governed by righteousness, and skilled in their hands. Every believer is called to lead and influence something: a family, a business, an industry, a community, a ministry, or a generation.

The Bible is full of leaders who expanded their world through obedience and strategic action. Moses led Israel out of slavery with courage and surrender. Joshua defeated nations because God increased his leadership ability. Joshua 1:7 says, ‘Only be thou strong and very courageous…’ God enlarged Joshua’s courage before enlarging his territory.

Solomon’s influence stretched across nations because God widened his understanding. 1 Kings 4:29 states, ‘And God gave Solomon… largeness of heart…’ Largeness of heart means leadership intelligence. It involves thinking broadly, making wise decisions, managing people, building systems, and governing strategically.

David became a leader for generations because he learned to lead with integrity and skill. Psalm 78:72 states, ‘So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.’ Leadership requires integrity. It requires competence and mastery.

Today’s marketplace demands more than emotional inspiration from leaders. It seeks thoughtful leaders, strategic planners, professionals who show excellence, entrepreneurs who innovate, managers who build systems, and believers who operate with spiritual insight. Careers rise through responsibility. Businesses grow through leadership. Investments thrive through strategy. Entrepreneurship moves forward with courage, clarity, and bold decisions.

Innovation in leadership is essential to navigate changes in technology, global markets, digital platforms, blockchain, financial shifts, and emerging industries. Strategic leadership helps believers foresee change, recognize trends, create opportunities, and develop models that speak to the future.

True leadership also requires emotional intelligence. Leaders must understand people, handle conflicts, communicate effectively, inspire teams, and build cultures of honor and excellence. Poor relationships can destroy influence. Wisdom in relationships can multiply it. Proverbs 16:21 states, ‘The wise in heart shall be called prudent…’ Prudence protects leadership.

Leadership is also about stewardship. Leaders are accountable to God for the influence they have, the people they shape, the choices they make, and the standards they maintain. Jesus redefined leadership as service. Mark 10:43 states, ‘Whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister.’ Leadership is greatness shown through service, excellence shown through responsibility, and influence shown through humility.

Enlargement through leadership requires vision. No leader rises without clarity. Vision is the leader’s guide. It fuels decisions. It keeps distractions at bay. Vision provides purpose to processes and meaning to sacrifices. Habakkuk 2:2 states, ‘Write the vision, and make it plain…’ Leaders need to think clearly, see accurately, and decide boldly.

This December, God is increasing your leadership grace. He is calling you to rise higher. He is strengthening your voice. He is awakening your strategic insight. He is giving you vision, discipline, courage, and understanding to lead effectively in your family, career, ministry, business, community, and industry.

You will think differently.

You will lead differently.

You will influence differently.

You will rise with a leadership mantle that carries divine significance.

Enlargement requires a leader.

And that leader is you.
