God enlarges His people by expanding their minds, sharpening their intelligence, strengthening their skills, and providing them with relevant wisdom for their time. Dominion is impossible without knowledge. Influence is impossible without understanding. Authority in the marketplace is impossible without intelligence. Scripture shows many times that God uplifts people by broadening their abilities.

Daniel 1:17 declares, ‘As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom…’ Knowledge and skill were gifts from God for their growth. He gave them intelligence to shape nations. He gave them wisdom to enter palaces. He gave them understanding to solve problems that others could not. God did not only anoint them; He made them capable.

This is the pattern of growth. God builds people by sharpening their minds, stretching their capacity, refining their skills, and granting them access to strategic intelligence. The Bible shows that Joseph rose in Egypt not only through dreams but through his exceptional administration. Genesis 41:39 says, ‘And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shown thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art.’ Wisdom made Joseph relevant. Intelligence made him essential.

Similarly, David expanded his influence through skill. Psalm 78:72 says, ‘So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.’ Skillfulness was part of David’s leadership gift. God expanded him through integrity and competence.

Solomon became the most sought-after king because God broadened his mind. 1 Kings 4:29 says, ‘And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart…’ Largeness of heart signifies mental expansion, intellectual depth, strategic thinking, and superior problem-solving. Solomon’s thoughts expanded before his influence did.

Growing in the marketplace requires a believer who is mentally alert, professionally skilled, spiritually grounded, wise in relationships, and well-informed strategically. Your spirit must be alive, but your mind must also bear fruit. Your prayers must be powerful, but your knowledge must be current. Your faith must be strong, but your skills must be excellent.

Today’s world needs believers who grasp technology, digital systems, global trade, financial insight, investment structures, cultural strategies, industry trends, and innovation. The Kingdom cannot influence what it does not understand. Believers cannot dominate industries they do not study. You cannot lead systems you do not understand.

To grow in your career, business, entrepreneurship, investment, or trade, you must treat knowledge as a spiritual practice. Studying can be worship. Learning is obedience. Striving for excellence is a form of evangelism. Competence represents the Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom. Isaiah 11:2 says, ‘And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might…’ The Spirit empowers believers to stand out intellectually and professionally. The Spirit does not diminish intelligence; He enhances it. He does not replace knowledge; He multiplies it. He does not overlook competence; He strengthens it.

Believers must become students of relevant knowledge. In a world shaped by data, digital platforms, blockchain, artificial intelligence, fintech changes, and creative industries, you must prepare yourself with understanding. Proverbs 24:5 says, ‘A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.’ Knowledge is strength. Knowledge is leverage. Knowledge is speed.

Your growth in 2026 will depend on the intelligence you gain in 2025. Your relevance will stem from the problems you can solve. Your influence will come from the value you create. Value is the currency of growth. Excellence is the language of influence. Skill is the gateway to opportunity.

But growth through knowledge must be balanced with relational wisdom. Knowledge without humility can lead to arrogance. Competence without kindness may result in sabotage. Professional success without wisdom in relationships can lead to ruin. Proverbs 15:1 says, ‘A soft answer turneth away wrath…’ Emotional intelligence safeguards your destiny. Wisdom in relationships maintains progress. Discernment protects partnerships.

Growth also requires righteousness in the marketplace. Your success must reflect Christ. Your creativity must uphold integrity. Your productivity must demonstrate Kingdom excellence. Colossians 3:23 says, ‘And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord…’ Excellence is worship. Diligence is obedience. Competence glorifies God.

This December, God is expanding your strategic intelligence. He is stirring your curiosity. He is sparking your hunger for knowledge. He is sharpening your mind for innovation, creativity, and relevance. He is preparing you for new levels of professional influence, investment growth, entrepreneurial success, and authority in the marketplace.
