There are times when light feels distant and darkness surrounds you like a thick cloud. Moments when the hope of the day fades under the weight of night. In these times, your true faith shines. Yet, in that hour, Heaven pays close attention to the sound of praise.

Paul and Silas had every reason to be silent. They had been beaten, chained, humiliated, and thrown into a deep prison. Yet at their darkest moment, when pain cried out and hope felt lost, they chose to praise. They sang when others would have complained. Their praise became the key to their freedom.

Acts 16:25, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God; and the prisoners heard them.”
