Day 288: OCT 15TH: REIGNING THROUGH DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS

Scripture

Proverbs 4:13

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go; keep her; for she is thy life.

DAILY WISDOM

Your rise in life depends on the instructions you follow and obey.

MESSAGE

In the Kingdom of God, divine instructions act as ladders to success. No one reigns without understanding, and no destiny rises without guidance. God doesn’t elevate people by chance. He lifts men and women through precise, timely, and often sacrificial instructions.

Proverbs 4:13, “Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go; keep her; for she is thy life.”

Your life depends on more than just effort. It thrives on divine instructions. The Bible tells stories of individuals who followed unusual instructions and achieved remarkable outcomes. Noah built an ark without a hint of rain. Abraham left his home without a destination. Isaac planted during a famine while others were fleeing. Mary accepted the Holy Spirit's guidance without a husband. All obeyed, and all were rewarded.

What sets believers apart is not the promises they claim but the instructions they follow. Every promise from God comes with a condition. The covenant is not just about what God wants to do; it involves what He requires to make it happen. If you want fulfillment, you must embrace the conditions.

John 2:5, “Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”

That’s the key. Divine instructions may not always seem logical, but they are powerful. They might not be comfortable, but they lead to results. Your glory lies in your obedience. The next phase of your life is behind the last instruction you delayed following. To walk in divine authority, you must train your spirit to listen, recognize, and obey.

Isaiah 1:19, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.”

It’s important to note that being willing is not enough. You also have to be obedient. Many feel willing in their hearts, but they hesitate to act. Many feel moved but take no steps. Many are convicted but remain still. The land responds only to those who act quickly on God’s instructions.

There are specific instructions for prosperity, health, generational significance, and ministry. You must find the one that fits your current season. That’s how you reign.

Deuteronomy 28:1, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God… the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.”

What elevates you is not just prayer. It’s how you respond to God’s voice. When you start acting on divine instructions, shame disappears. Delay ends. Stagnation is lifted. Why? Because obedience serves as a spiritual elevator. It takes you to places your skills, experience, and connections cannot.

Moses turned aside to see the burning bush. That one decision changed everything for him. Elijah followed the Lord's command to go to Zarephath, and that action saved him during a famine. Jesus obeyed the Father even unto death, and He received the highest honor.

The gap between where you are and where God wants you to be is often just one instruction away. It might be forgiving someone, moving to a new place, starting a fresh task, submitting to a mentor, giving generously, fasting, or waiting. Whatever it is, your instruction holds the key to your future.

Divine instructions are not suggestions. They represent God’s plans presented simply. Your willingness to act shows that you trust the God who speaks, even when the path isn’t clear right away.

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Acting promptly is better than lingering in confusion. You don’t need to know the outcome; you only need to trust the instruction.

God doesn’t provide explanations. He gives commands. Every divine command carries the potential for your elevation.

KEY LEARNING POINTS

  1. REVELATION WITHOUT OBEDIENCE LEADS TO STAGNATION

Luke 6:46, “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
