Day 252: SEP 9TH: THE SPIRITUAL SEAT OF GOVERNMENT

Scripture

Ephesians 1:21

Far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named not only in this world but also in that which is to come.

DAILY WISDOM

Spiritual authority starts with your spiritual position.

MESSAGE

If a believer does not see themselves as a legislator in the Spirit, their life on earth will fall short of what God expects. Redemption did more than forgive your sins. It changed your position. It didn’t just lift you out of the pit; it brought you into the palace. Whenever God elevates a person, He shifts their seat. When your seat changes, your voice changes. Your access changes. Your authority changes.

You are not seated below the challenges of life. You are positioned above them. You are not fighting for power. You are in the place of power. You are not praying to reach heaven. You are seated in the heavens. Authority flows from your position. Until you understand that your throne is in the heavenly realm, you will continue to fight battles that have already been resolved.

As a believer in Christ, you are spiritually positioned far above principalities. This means you should not struggle with what you are already above. Being far above is not a metaphor; it is a spiritual territory. It is not poetic language; it is a realm of authority. It means you are not on the same level as evil spirits. You are far superior. In Christ, you are greater than witchcraft. You are beyond ancestral curses. You are above the limits of your earthly background.

What gives power to your prayers is not your tone but your throne. When you speak from your position in the Spirit, you are not asking; you are legislating. You are not engaging in negotiations; you are governing. You are not reacting to the enemy’s actions; you are enforcing what has already been established in Christ.

You cannot live like someone beneath when you are seated high above. Many believers pray like victims because they do not view themselves as rulers. But God has already placed you on a throne in Christ. Your throne is spiritual, but it has real-world effects. This means you do not have to submit to the demands of your circumstances. You are not under pressure from this world. You are not afraid. You are not sick. You are not bound by the law of sin and death. You are above.

Stop letting earthly situations influence your heavenly position. You might feel overwhelmed on earth, but you are seated high above in the Spirit. You might feel attacked in the physical realm, but your position in the heavens is unchanged. Your standing in Christ is not affected by how you feel. It is not shaken by economic conditions. It is not redefined by opposition. Your seat is secure in Christ Jesus.

Now, you need to operate from that position. Pray from there. Speak from there. Act from there. Make your decisions from there. Rebuke evil spirits from that place. Live boldly from that position. Walk in victory from there. That is your place. That is your throne. That is your seat of authority.

SIX DIMENSIONS OF THE BELIEVER’S SPIRITUAL SEAT OF GOVERNMENT

  1. YOU ARE SEATED FAR ABOVE ALL SPIRITUAL POWERS

Ephesians 1:21, "Far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named not only in this world but also in that which is to come."

You are not struggling for spiritual rank. You already have superior authority in Christ.

  1. YOUR SEAT IS A PLACE OF REST AND RULE

Hebrews 1:3, "When he had by himself purged our sins sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high."

Rest represents confidence. Authority is not a result of panic. It is an established position.

  1. YOU OPERATE FROM A THRONE OF GRACE AND JUDGMENT

Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

From this position, you can obtain mercy and make judgments over situations.

  1. YOU SHARE IN CHRIST’S ADMINISTRATION OF THE UNIVERSE

Romans 8:17, "And if children then heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ."

You are not just a spectator in the Kingdom. You are a co-governor. You share in divine authority.

  1. YOUR SEAT CARRIES JURISDICTION OVER THE ENEMY

Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

This position gives you authority in the spirit realm. What you bind from that seat is bound.

  1. YOUR SEAT IS YOUR IDENTITY PLATFORM

2 Corinthians 5:20, "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ."

That position grants you identity, authority, and representation. You do not represent yourself; you represent the Kingdom.

DAILY PURPOSE NOTE

Today, operate from your divine seat of authority. Declare your victory from your position in Christ. Do not plead. Do not fear. Rule.
