Day 186: THE OIL OF JOY – HEAVEN’S ANSWER TO EARTHLY SHAME

And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Many believers today live under the shadow of barrenness, not because God is not faithful, but because their set time had not yet come. But when visitation comes, it brings evidence.
MESSAGE
When God visits a person, He does not only lift their spirit, He overturns the stigma. Divine visitation is Heaven’s surgical response to years of delay, ridicule, barrenness, and silence. In Luke 1:36–37, Gabriel revealed that Elizabeth, Mary’s cousin, was now pregnant in her old age. The one “who was called barren” was now six months into a miracle. Why? Because “with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Barrenness is not only a biological condition, it is a prophetic description of unfruitfulness, delay, unfulfilled prophecy, unanswered prayers, and hopes deferred. Many believers today live under the shadow of barrenness, not because God is not faithful, but because their set time had not yet come. But when visitation comes, it brings evidence. Not emotion. Not theory. Evidence.
Elizabeth did not need to argue her case. Her womb became her witness. When God visits you, your transformation becomes undeniable. Your shame is exchanged for glory. Your sighs become songs. Your ashes are turned into beauty. And central to that exchange is the oil of joy.
Isaiah 61:3 declares, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion… the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…” This oil is not symbolic, it is supernatural. It restores vitality. It cancels mockery. It releases strength.
Heaven will never leave you where it finds you. Divine visitation will break cycles and initiate celebration. The very thing that made you weep in past seasons will become the headline of your rejoicing in this one. In the place where you were called barren, you shall be called joyful. God’s fingerprint is joy, it is the confirmation that the season has shifted.

- OIL OF JOY, FLOW INTO MY LIF, —LET EVERY MOURNING BE TRANSFORMED INTO DANCING.
- I PROPHESY THAT THE NAME THEY USED TO MOCK ME WILL BE REPLACED WITH A NAME THAT CARRIES HONOUR.
- BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST, I RECEIVE EVIDENCE THAT WILL SILENCE EVERY ACCUSER AND CRITIC.
- I DECREE THAT THIS SEASON, I WILL LAUGH. I WILL REJOICE. I WILL TESTIFY. FOR WITH GOD, NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE.
