Day 150: LIVING AS CONQUERORS IN CHRIST

Scripture
Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
DAILY WISDOM
Living in victory is not an occasional experience; it is a consistent lifestyle that reflects the power of the risen Christ in you.
MESSAGE
Victory is not a one-time event. It is not something we experience just in moments of breakthrough, nor is it something we anticipate only in the future. As believers, victory is our present inheritance—a victory that has already been secured for us through the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. The victory He has won for us is eternal, and it is meant to be lived out in our daily lives.
The Apostle Paul declares that, in Christ, we are “more than conquerors”. This means that we are not just victors; we are overwhelmingly victorious. The kind of victory we have in Christ is not fragile or temporary, but a supreme, everlasting triumph over every form of evil, every attack, and every limitation. Through His love, Christ has ensured that we can never be defeated by the forces of darkness.
Just like an eagle soaring in the sky, you too are designed to rise above. The eagle doesn’t fear the wind or the storms. It knows that the wind is an instrument to lift it higher, to take it into a place of greater strength and authority. As a believer, you too must learn to view your challenges and trials through the lens of faith, knowing that they are simply opportunities for you to soar higher in Christ.
Victory is not about the absence of struggle but about the power to overcome in every situation. Jesus did not avoid the cross; He faced it with boldness, knowing that through His death, resurrection, and ascension, He would secure the ultimate victory for all who believe in Him. The victory He won is not just for a distant future; it is a victory that we are meant to live in right now.
Living as conquerors in Christ means that we approach each day with the mindset of victory. Whether in our finances, our relationships, our health, or our careers, we must walk in the understanding that we are already more than conquerors. You are not fighting to win; you are enforcing the victory that Christ has already won on your behalf.
The eagle’s flight is a picture of the believer’s life—rising above every challenge, not relying on its own strength, but being carried by the winds of the Spirit to new heights. Your life should be characterized by the same triumph. When challenges come, don’t shrink back. Don’t let fear paralyze you. Soar above it, trusting in the strength and victory of Jesus.
