Day 143: THE ASCENT THROUGH OBEDIENCE

Scripture

Philippians 2:9

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.

DAILY WISDOM

Exaltation in the kingdom is never random. It is the reward of obedience, of surrender, and of alignment with divine purpose.

MESSAGE

The eagle’s flight has shown us a picture of majesty and grace, but today we are reminded that even the eagle does not stay in the valley forever—it must rise. And its rise is not powered by panic or struggle, but by submitting to the rhythm of the wind. In the same way, Jesus’ journey through suffering was never about staying low—it was always about fulfilling a purpose that would end in glorious elevation.

Scripture tells us that God also hath highly exalted Him. Not the world. Not men. Not systems. But God Himself. Why? Because Jesus humbled Himself, and was obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. This means His exaltation was the result of perfect alignment—complete obedience and absolute trust in the Father’s will.

Just like the eagle that leans into the invisible wind and stretches wide its wings, Jesus leaned fully into the will of the Father. He did not resist it. He did not question it. He submitted to it—even when it meant pain, betrayal, and a bloody cross. This is the kind of surrender that precedes supernatural lifting.

The resurrection was not a reaction—it was the Father’s response to the obedience of the Son. The ascension was not merely an escape from the earth—it was the divine result of a life fully aligned. This is the blueprint for every believer.

You are called to soar, but your wings must be stretched in the direction of God’s wind. Don’t fight the process. Don’t strive to lift yourself. The God who exalted Jesus will exalt you in due time—if you walk the path of obedience.

There is a higher realm of dominion, but it is not accessed through ambition or noise—it is unlocked through yieldedness. Just like Jesus, our ascension is wrapped in our surrender. He rose because He first descended. He reigned because He first obeyed.

Let this be your confidence today: the same wind that carried Jesus through death, into resurrection, and back to the right hand of the Father—is the same wind that lives in you. It’s the Spirit. And He is lifting you too.

THINGS TO NOTE

  1. God Exalts the Obedient.

Jesus’ exaltation wasn’t random—it was the reward of perfect obedience.

  1. Spiritual Ascent Requires Surrender.

Just as the eagle doesn’t flap to rise, you don’t have to strive—just yield.

  1. The Wind Is Still Blowing.

The Holy Spirit that lifted Jesus now lives in you to lift you also.

  1. Your Cross Is Not Your End.

The path of obedience may lead through hardship, but it always ends in glory.

DAILY PURPOSE NOTE

Today, I refuse to strive in the flesh. I will lean into the Spirit and trust God’s process. As I walk in obedience, I will rise into every place of purpose and glory appointed for me.

DAILY PROPHETIC DECLARATION

  1. Father, thank You for the pattern of Christ—obedience before exaltation.
  2. I submit to Your wind, Holy Spirit; lift me as You lifted Jesus.
  3. Let my life reflect total surrender to Your will, no matter the cost.
  4. May I never pursue glory at the expense of obedience.
  5. Just as Jesus was lifted, may my life rise into every ordained realm of dominion.
