Day 14: Access to Light

Scripture

Isaiah 60:1

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen
upon thee.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

The level of light you walk in determines the level of glory you experience.

MESSAGE

In Isaiah 60:1, we are called to “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Light is a direct access to glory. The brighter the light, the greater the glory. In the Kingdom of God, light and glory are intrinsically connected.

When we talk about access to light, we are referring to the illumination that comes from God's presence and His Word. The more you immerse yourself in God's Word and seek His presence, the more light you receive. This light is the revelation of His will and the unveiling of His glory.

Jesus, in John 1:4-5, is described as the Light of the world: “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” As we walk in the light of Christ, we experience His glory in increasing measures. The glory of God will never be fully accessed unless we have a deep commitment to seeking His light. The deeper your relationship with God and the greater your exposure to His Word, the higher the level of glory that will manifest in your life.

KEY POINTS ON LIGHT AND GLORY:

  1. Light and Glory are Intertwined:
The greater the light, the greater the glory that manifests. Isaiah 60:1.
  2. Immersing in God's Word:
Accessing light through the Word of God releases greater glory. Psalm 119:105.
  3. Walking in His Presence:
The light of God's presence brings forth His glory in every aspect of life. John 1:4-5.

REFLECTION

  1. Commit to spending more time in the Word, seeking the light of God that will unlock His glory in your life.
  2. Declare, “I am walking in the light of God's Word, and His glory is shining in every area of my life.”

PRAYER

  • Father, I ask that You open the eyes of my understanding to see the light of Your Word.
  • Let Your light shine brightly in my life and bring forth Your glory in every area of my destiny in Jesus' Name. Amen.

DAILY PURPOSE NOTE

Your level of glory is determined by the level of light you have access to. Seek the light of God's Word and His presence for greater glory.
