Day 114: THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS – LIVING JUSTIFIED IN HIM

Scripture
Romans 3:28
For ye know that if a man be justified by the law, he is condemned: but if a man be justified by faith, he is not condemned.
DAILY WISDOM
Justification by faith is not merely a doctrinal truth—it is the transformative power that makes us new and sets us free to live in divine favour.
MESSAGE
Redemption and justification are at the core of the Gospel. Through the finished work of Christ on the cross, our sins are forgiven, and we are clothed in His righteousness. This divine gift transforms us from condemned sinners into heirs of eternal glory. Let us break down this truth:
- Righteousness as a Divine Gift
- Our justification is not earned by works but is given freely by God’s grace through faith.
- The blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, cleanses us from all unrighteousness and secures our eternal inheritance.
- The Finished Work of the Cross
- Jesus declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30), signaling that our redemption was accomplished completely.
- His sacrificial death and resurrection provided the means for our justification, making our salvation a completed work.
- Transformation Through Justification
- Once justified, we are made new creations—our old self is buried with Christ, and we now walk in newness of life (2 Corinthians 5:17).
- This transformation liberates us from the condemnation of the law and empowers us to live in divine freedom.
- Empowerment to Live Righteously
- Being justified means we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to overcome sin and live victoriously.
- Our daily walk reflects the righteousness of Christ, impacting every aspect of our lives and testimonies.
- A Call to Reflect Divine Holiness
- As recipients of this gift, we are called to manifest God’s holiness in our conduct, serving as beacons of His grace in a dark world.
- Our lives become living testimonies of the redemptive power of the Cross.
DAILY PURPOSE NOTE
- Embrace your identity as a justified child of God, freed from condemnation.
- Live daily in the power of the finished work of Christ, letting His righteousness shape your actions.
- Reflect God’s holiness and grace in every interaction, so that others may see the light of redemption in you.
