Scripture Focus

Psalm 102:13

“You will arise and have mercy upon Zion, for the time to favor her; yes, the right time has come.”

Teaching Message

There is a part of the Kingdom where effort isn't the main driver of results. This is called favor. Favor is divine help that leads to outcomes that can't be explained by logic. It is God getting involved in a person's life and changing circumstances, hearts, and opportunities in his favor.

Breakthroughs are closely linked to favor because favor makes everything easier. A person can work hard and still face delays, but when favor enters his life, delays lose their power. Favor transforms ordinary people into preferred vessels.

Psalm 5:12 For you, Lord, will bless the righteous; you will surround him like a shield with favor.

Favor is not selective. It is all encompassing. It shields a person, providing both protection and an advantage. Where favor is present, rejection becomes impossible.

One interesting aspect of favor is that it operates without needing qualifications. It doesn't ask for credentials, consider a person's background, or wait for permission. It simply speaks, causing systems to adjust.

Luke 2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

This illustrates that favor works both vertically and horizontally. Favor with God gives divine support, while favor with people brings cooperation. When both aspects are active, breakthroughs are unavoidable.

Believers must realize that favor isn’t random; it’s a covenant reality. It responds to alignment, obedience, and righteousness. When someone walks in agreement with God’s plan, they open themselves up for consistent favor.

Deuteronomy 28:12 The Lord will open to you his good treasure, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands.

Favor is what prompts heaven to respond to earth. It allows divine support to meet human effort, ensuring that work leads to success rather than frustration.

Another aspect of favor is divine remembrance. Sometimes, God remembers a person, and that changes everything for them. Favor is God's remembrance at work.

Genesis 8:1 And God remembered Noah, and all the living things and cattle with him in the ark.

When God remembers someone, limitations cease to exist. When God turns his attention to a person’s future, delays are lifted. Favor brings God’s focus to a person’s life.

Favor also influences visibility. It makes a person noticeable without struggle, opening doors that they may not have qualified for. It places them in situations that align with their purpose.

Esther 2:17 And the king loved Esther more than all the women; she found grace and favor in his eyes.

Esther didn't have to fight for her significance. Favor placed her in a position of importance. This is how divine advantage works.

The breakforth anointing connects closely with favor because favor speeds up access. It removes barriers and shortens processes, turning struggle into ease.

Proverbs 3:4 So you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Favor must be sought out. It doesn’t happen by chance; it requires pursuing alignment with divine principles. When found, it leads to undeniable outcomes.

Another aspect of favor is supernatural distinction. It makes a person stand out without competition, setting them apart effortlessly.

Exodus 11:3 And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians.

Favor speaks even in unfamiliar places. It prevails in tough environments and overcomes opposition.

This ninth day reminds us that breakthroughs are not just about our actions but also about what God does for us. When favor is at work, human limitations are set aside.
