Day 315: NOV 11TH: THE DIVINE STRATEGY FOR WARFARE AND VICTORY
Scripture
2 Chronicles 20:22
And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
DAILY WISDOM
When you praise in faith, God rises in battle for you.
MESSAGE
Praise is not entertainment; it is a weapon. It is one of the most powerful tools of warfare available to believers. Prayer calls for divine help, but praise invites God's presence. When praise goes up, God Himself comes down to fight. Praise is God’s battle language. It is the spiritual sound that rallies Heaven’s army against every opponent from hell.
In 2 Chronicles 20:22, “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.” Judah faced an overwhelming number of enemies and had no human plan left. They lacked the men, swords, or shields to win, but they held onto a powerful secret, they had praise. As they began to sing, God began to act. Their voices in adoration released divine ambush on their enemies.
That is the mystery of praise. When you engage in it with understanding, God takes over your battle. You do not need to fight when you know how to sing. You do not need to struggle when you know how to rejoice in the Lord. Praise shifts warfare from your hands to God’s, and when God fights, no enemy can stand.
Exodus 15:11, “Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
God does amazing things in praise. Wonders arise in the atmosphere of worship. Miracles happen in the spirit of adoration. Every time you praise, you invite God into the battle, and His presence changes everything. Praise is not just something you do after victory; it is what you do to ensure victory.
When the walls of Jericho loomed over Israel, they did not fall because of swords or spears; they fell because of the sound of obedience and worship. Joshua 6:20, “So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets… and the wall fell down flat.” Praise turned an impenetrable fortress to dust. No stronghold can resist genuine praise.
Each time you sing in faith, you unleash Heaven’s might. Angels respond to the sound of praise. Psalm 103:20, “Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” When you praise, angels go into action because praise is God’s Word in movement.
The enemy knows this truth and seeks to silence your praise. A praising believer is a significant threat. When you complain, you lose battles; when you praise, you win with ease. The devil’s goal is to shift your attention from God to your problems because he understands that praise refocuses you back on God. When you magnify your problem, it grows; when you magnify God, your problem shrinks.
Psalm 149:6–9, “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people.”
Praise is your spiritual sword. It is both a sound and a strike. It brings judgment and secures your victory. Every time you sing to God, you are declaring divine judgment against every foe. This is why praise is essential for believers; it is necessary for dominion.
When you raise your hands in worship during tough times, you are telling God, “I trust You more than my difficulties.” That kind of faith moves Heaven. You may feel surrounded, but when you begin to praise, God’s presence surrounds whatever threatens you. Your praise changes the battlefield.
It is not about singing beautifully; it is about singing sincerely. God listens to the heart behind your song. He responds to your trust, not your melody. When praise flows from faith and gratitude, it becomes a powerful weapon for victory.
The believer’s strength is not in physical power but in spiritual sound. When you learn to praise under pressure, you become unbeatable. Praise is not just an emotional response; it is a spiritual plan. It confuses the enemy and establishes God’s order. Whenever you feel trapped, turn to praise. Whenever you feel burdened, turn to praise. Whenever you are unsure what to do next, turn to praise.
