Day 242: AUG 30TH: THE POWER TO GET WEALTH: COVENANT, NOT LUCK

Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
DAILY WISDOM
Wealth is not a game of chance. It is a covenant transaction between God and obedient people.
MESSAGE
In the natural world, wealth is often pursued through hard work, luck, or deceit. But in the Kingdom, wealth is not about chance; it is a covenant. The Word of God makes it clear that divine wealth is primarily a spiritual issue grounded in covenant alignment.
Deuteronomy 8:18 spells out God’s agenda: “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…”
God is the Source of supernatural wealth. He does not oppose riches; He opposes misuse, pride, and forgetfulness. The purpose of wealth in the Kingdom is to establish covenant. It is not about luxury or status; it is about making an impact, inheritance, and furthering His agenda.
The Scripture does not say, “He gives you wealth.” It says, “He gives you power to get wealth…” This indicates that spiritual empowerment is needed to access and keep true riches. The Hebrew term for “power” refers to ability, skill, wisdom, strategy, and authority. It is not about handouts; it is about divine enablement.
Many await money to fall into their hands while God waits for them to engage the covenant and receive the power to create wealth. In the Kingdom, wealth is not accidental; it is based on covenant. Covenants have conditions.
Genesis 17:2 explains the basis of wealth in covenant: “And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.”
Multiplication is intentional; it is based on covenant. Those who obey the covenant will not only prosper; they will multiply and become leaders within the Kingdom’s economy.
Remembering the Lord means going beyond mere recollection; it involves aligning with His terms. You put His kingdom, His ways, and His purposes first.
Matthew 6:33 confirms this: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Kingdom wealth is granted to those who align correctly.
To activate this power, you must:
- Honor God as your Source
- Tithe faithfully and joyfully
- Give sacrificially and consistently
- Apply financial wisdom
- Avoid debt and waste
- Serve God’s Kingdom with your resources
- Remain sensitive to divine guidance in your business, career, and investments
This power to attain wealth is not about exploiting others or outsmarting systems; it is about being a faithful steward of divine purpose and supporting God’s prophetic agenda on earth.
God is still raising Josephs, Abrahams, Esthers, and Kingdom financiers who will handle wealth with integrity, pure intentions, and prophetic insight.

Job 36:11: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity…”
6. COVENANT WEALTH IS NOT TO IMPRESS PEOPLE, BUT TO FUND GOD’S KINGDOM AND ADVANCE HIS PURPOSE.
Zechariah 1:17: “My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad…”
DAILY PURPOSE NOTE
God does not give you wealth merely to improve your lifestyle. He empowers you to enforce His covenant on earth. Accept the power. Engage the covenant. Prosper on purpose.
